Below are pictures of the beautiful Vizsla quilt handmade by our very own Cathy Jones. This is the second quilt made to coincide with our Specialty Show at the Nassau Coliseum on Sunday, February 14th as the grand prize raffle. The quilt is approximately 51 inches square in size. The front and back are 100% cotton and washable.

The VCLI is happy to announce that we have created a 2010 calendar from the winning pictures that were voted upon at our Summer Fun Day in August. The calendar will be available very soon and will feature 12 great photos submitted by our club members.
The cost will be $15each. If you are interested in purchasing a calendar please email Cathy Jones - skyblu47@optonline.net ASAP with the number of calendars you would like and they will be reserved for you. We are sure you will love all the great pictures of our favorite breed as the months progress.

The VCLI is planning to sponsor a photo contest to produce a unique calendar for the club for 2010, and hopefully for years after. Start sorting your saved Vizsla photos according to which month you think they best represent. Enter as many photos as you would like. Please send actual photos not digital.

The Vizsla Club of Long Island has been officially recognized by the American Kennel Club!
Having reached our goal is a wonderful achievement for all of us. One of the most important points of this club is to encourage members to get out and and enjoy their dogs to the fullest. To discover their potential and to provide opportunities to learn about and participate in activities that will be fulfilling for both you and your dog(s).
